Three months ago, I took the plunge and fully committed to entrepreneurship. It was the scariest decisions I’ve ever made. Some days, I feel like a total badass who has it all figured out, and other days, I wonder if I was out of my mind when I made my decision. Despite the ups and downs, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. Here are a few things I’ve learned in this short time:

  1. You need a transition plan
  2. You need a business plan
  3. Networking is key
  4. Community is everything
  5. There will be lots of doubts and naysayers
  6. Rest if you need to

Over the next few days I will delve deeper into each of the above tips in my #dearentrepreneur series and how I talk about how I am navigating through them.

I’m still new to this entrepreneurship thing and often feel unsure of what I’m doing. But I’ll be sharing my journey as I go, and I hope you can join me!
